Dane Cook

My sweet husband surprised me with tickets to the Dane Cook concert a few weeks ago!! He told me to bring my camera because we had pretty good seats. Little did I know that they were up front & center...and I mean FRONT & CENTER!! Best seats in the house!! He kept walking towards the floor seats in the front row and I was just following him not thinking much about where we were going until he sat down. Carey being the jokster that he is, I thought it was a prank when he sat down in our seats and was waiting for him to jump up & say, "just kidding!" Needless to say, it was a fun surprise and a fun evening with my sweetie!

KING BED

I've been saving up for a King size bed over the past several months!! Initially I was just saving for the mattress that I want but then I recently started thinking that I ought to be looking at and pricing bed frames, etc. I thought I would get online and look to see if I even saw anything I liked and of course the first one I fell in love with was a "Hooker" brand bed frame!! I should have known!! I apologize in advance to my dear husband for having expensive taste!! In the mean time, I'll just keep on saving!

As a young child I just couldn't comprehend when a friend or classmate would tell me that their parents wouldn't let them have a dog...one dog, that's all! The reason I couldn't comprehend why having one pet was so aweful was because growing up I had several animals such as horses, rabbits, birds, dogs, cats (barn cats of course) and an aquarium full of fish all at the same time! I still think everyone needs a dog or a pet in their life...esp. one who can fetch you a "cold one"! They just make life that much more exciting and enjoyable! These are our pup's - Lexi and Bella! I don't know what we would do without them!

p.s. Thank you mom & dad for always letting us have pets around throughout our entire childhood! I truly believe it helped teach us great responsibility and other life lessons in addition to always having a furry friend around to play with! 

U.S. Women's Mid-Am Tourney

I must say having worked in the golf business as long as I have...Daylight Savings is a HoLiDaY and it's just around the corner!! Woo hoo! We just recently hosted the U.S.G.A. Women's 2010 Mid-Amateur Tournament and although it was a long week, it was an experience I will always remember!! Once I finally get caught up at work, then everything will be down hill until December when everyone starts their holiday shopping!! I'm definitely looking forward to everything slowing down at work for awhile!
